Adventures of Gracie

We Survived!

Well it's been two weeks now since I've gone back to work and guess what??..... we all survived!! Gracie enjoys spending time with her grandparents (and I'm certain they're all thrilled about me back to work) : ) Anyway, Dave is starting to get used to being a "single dad." and I'm still trying to figure out a good sleeping schedule with working night shift, but overall it's not going too bad. One of the major downsides however, is that we've had to start supplementing with formula since I don't seem to make enough to keep up a good stock pile for her while I'm at work. We've decided she must have Dave's metabolism because she eats and eats and eats yet doesn't seem to gain much weight (we do think she's finally over 10lbs now though so we're excited about that).

Dave enjoyed his first Father's day yesterday. We had a wonderful day spending time with both sides of the family and some of the fathers.

As far as milestones go, we have a few more to report! She is now successfully holding her head up on a regular basis and has become proficient in rolling from back to belly (although she can only go to the left). And since she gave me a "first" by sleeping through the night for Mother's day, she had to give Daddy a first by rolling from her belly to her back for Father's day! In fact today I went and put her down on her back to have some "mat time" and I walked into the kitchen. I peaked back on her and found her on her belly, went back to the kitchen and at my next check, she had rolled right off her mat! Gracie's also found her mouth recently and has decided that her hands and feet are fantastic things to eat!! She's drooling like crazy lately too, so we think we may be in the beginning stages of teething. Alrighty well I guess that's about it. Here are some more pictures and videos for you to enjoy!
